In December it was the Mayan calendar, in January it was the credit card bills from Christmas and now there is a double whammy for February!
Valentine’s Day is next Thursday and frankly I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I’m not a huge fan of the day set aside for sweethearts. I'm not bitter, (well maybe a little) but honestly the holiday has become way too commercialized and just a way for retailers to make a buck
So I am a romantic down to my very core. I will block out everything, turn off the cell phone if a movie like Casablanca is on.

I found a note in my email this morning from a friend who is a rabid sports fan. For year "Bill" (not his real name) has lamented on how the day after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday.
Anyone wake up New Year’s morning and think “Where is the magic”? As a kid I always expected to wake up on the first day of a new year and feel different. But I never did. Now as an adult, I still have that anticipation on New Year’s Eve (or NYE for those that are saving characters when they tweet or post to Facebook) and again I wake up the first day of a new year and nothing
This morning on the K-Bear morning show we discussed the variety of ways New Year's Eve is celebrated across the U.S. From the dropping of the giant pine cone in Flagstaff, Arizona to the use of a live possum in Brasstown, North Carolina
Like any family, we have our Christmas traditions, although now that my wife and I are away from our kids for the Holiday, it looks like it is time to start some new ones. Although with the unpacking of the new place, I don't think either one of us thought about doing anything new, so it looks like the old traditions will be in place for tonight and tomorrow
We couldn't collect the funniest memes of the week without including memes on the two biggest events of this week. So just for you, we have a bunch of Thanksgiving memes and Black Friday memes that will either make you roll on the floor laughing, or cringe at the memory of too much food and too much shopping
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's time to get into full-on turkey mode. After all, it's never too early to loosen up the ol' belt buckle to ready ourselves for Thursday's feasting. While we're getting totally hyped about eating tons of stuffing and gravy and pumpkin pie, we still feel like the holiday prep could use a little extra oomph, and that's where Turkey Day music comes in.
If you love unnecessarily elaborate meals and absolutely hate being in good health, we recommend using the recipes from the self-described "d-bags" in this video.
