Brian Wilson has been a busy guy…even though he hasn’t been in the band for years now. So what is Brian Wilson up to these days?
October 25 is the release of his 11-song In the Key of Disney collection, work on a new solo album, and a Beach Boys reunion tour. “They’re beautiful songs,” Wilson said of the Disney classics he retooled in Beach Boys style. As for his next solo album he said, “We’ve got about five or six things in the works,” adding, “I’m just as much a perfectionist as I was 50 years ago.” Finally, as for a 50th anniversary 2012 reunion tour, Wilson cautioned, “There is nothing confirmed about that. I don’t know what is going to go on there.” We can only hope the original members of the Beach Boys go out and “Do It Again”
