Beauty, But At a Price
Before coming to Billings to take the job as Brand Manager of K-Bear, I spent almost 13 months in Juneau, Alaska. People here have ask me what Alaska was like…so I thought I would share this video of the area with you. It’s funny, Alaska was never on my radar as a place to live or even visit. Many of our friends were envious, some thought we were nuts. It turned out, it was a little of both. The challenge of living in a town that is only reachable by plane or boat was tiring at times. The fact that we were landlocked was frustrating at times. The cost of living was painful at times. But the daily beauty was rewarding. The sandy beaches, the soaring mountains right out of the water, the green trees, the wildlife…all made day to day life bearable. My friend Mike Beausoleil has an audio/video company based in Alaska and produced this. Enjoy watching it. I will enjoy the fact that I can drive to the Rims, or Red Lodge or further south if I choose.
