August 9, 2012 Over the last 11 days, I realized that I love vacations! I took 11 days off and it felt wonderful. I was fortunate enough to do a few different things on this Summer vacation. Some right here in Billings as well as down in the Southern United States.

July 27, 2012 It was a great site this morning doing the morning show on K-Bear seeing the Hot Air Balloons take off just before 7 a.m.. I was fortunate to be 23 floors up in the Crowne Plaza and had a ring side seat, so to speak!

July 27, 2012 The hot temperatures continue to keep things dry. A wild fire in Columbus started at 6 p.m. on July 25. The fire has been named the Skibstad Fire. By dusk the fire had spread to 600 to 800 acres near the Shane Creek area. Evacuation notices were given to Shane Creek residents. Horses were move to the Keyser Creek Arena at 390 Rapelje Road. July 25, 2012 I for one was excited at the prospect of Bob Dylan playing Billings again. It was two Summers ago that Bob and John Mellancamp performed at Dehler Park during their "Baseball Stadium Tour". Bob Dylan was slated to perform at MetraPark right in the middle of Montana Fair, on August 15. The concert was cancelled late last week.
