This summer's Montana BBQ Cook-off in Absarokee is Sunday July 1. This will be my 2nd year judging the competition. This is one of my favorite events of the summer. My wife, Keri and I roll into Absarokee on the morning of the event and there is just something about the smell of a sizzling grill going before lunchtime!

The Billings Roller Derby Dames are ready to lace up their skates again and do some Roller Derby Saturday, June 16. The Billings Roller Derby Dames (BRDD) is undefeated so far this season after going to Denver and schooling them on derby last month!
June 11, 2012 At about 7:30am we arrived to set up for our 3 remote broadcasts at Auto Specialist/Carstar in the Heights on Saturday, June 9 for the 4th annual Soaps It Up Car Wash. It was rainy, cloudy and cold. First thought was, do we move the event to another date?

June 6, 2012 Congratulations to Billings Scarlet, Justin Black! Justin was drafted this week in the 4th round of the Major League Baseball draft. Black was chosen as the 149th pick overall by the Atlanta Braves.
June 6, 2012 I think 70 degrees is a perfect temperature to wash 100's of cars! The 4th annual "Soaps It Up" car wash is this Saturday, June 9. This is a major fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County and Make A Wish Montana.

June 5, 2012 I stopped by Western Security Bank last week for their downtown bank celebration and they were including the Billings Mustangs as part of their party. 2012 marks the 60th year that Billings has been affiliated with the Billings Mustangs minor league baseball team. And the Mustangs are still wearing Cincinnati Reds colors.
