June 20, 2012 It was a sad story on June 8 about first the family on Colton in Billings that were robbed. But the burglars beat their dog Sadie to the point that the owners had to put the dog to sleep. The story has caused a lot of emotions with people all over the area.

June 19, 2012 For the last several weeks I have been sharing a feature on the K-Bear Morning Show called "Mayor Call". Mayor Tom Hanel calls is at about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday mornings. We do a little small talk and then it is down to the business usually as to what is going on around Billings. More times than not it is a 2 minute discussion of the Monday City Council Meeting. This summer's Montana BBQ Cook-off in Absarokee is Sunday July 1. This will be my 2nd year judging the competition. This is one of my favorite events of the summer. My wife, Keri and I roll into Absarokee on the morning of the event and there is just something about the smell of a sizzling grill going before lunchtime!
