There is jut enough wind coming down the mountain east slopes today to keep us dry, and boost temperatures a bit more. Highs in the area Friday will be mainly in the upper 20s to low 30s, and the sky will remain partly to mostly clear
Light snow will end this morning on a line from Billings to Miles City, from I-94 to the south. Otherwise, conditions will begin to dry out, but will be slow to warm. Thursday high temperatures will be mainly in the teens with a few low 20s
A Pacific storm system will move into the area today producing a steady light snowfall across the area from late in the day Today through Thursday. The heaviest snowfall will be along and south of The I-90 and I-94 east to west line
Light snow will continue into this afternoon over Eastern Montana and the Western Dakotas as a Pacific system moves through. Snow is ending in the Billings area for now, but not until a new daily record has been set
Pacific moisture will move over the very cold air in place across Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming today, bringing periods of light to moderate snowfall to the region through tonight. Temperatures will generally hold steady or drop through the rest of the day
High pressure will bring warmer and dry conditions to the region today with highs 35 to 45. Lows drop to 15 to 25 degrees. Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs 25 to 35.
Colder air will drop south for the weekend with high temperatures falling below seasonal levels Sunday through early next week
Strong and gusty southwest winds will continue around Livingston into this afternoon. Gusts to 80 mph have been reported early in the day but winds will taper off somewhat this afternoon and evening. Some gusty winds will remain through Friday morning
