Angry Birds Coming to TV and Theatres!
April 4, 2012 6:00 PM For those of you who can’t get enough of Angry Birds, good news! The hit game is set to become a weekly animated television show later this year, and a full length film is also in the works!
52 episodes of the cartoon will be released this fall. Each episode will be about two and a half to three minutes long.
Rovio, the Finnish company behind the wildly popular mobile game is in the process of developing a video app and is hoping that the series will be available across all screens including mobile, PC and TV.
That’s not all! A full length film is also in development but it isn’t expected to be released until 2015.
Rovio is also planning to build a series of Angry Birds themed children’s activity parks. The first will open this month in Finland. Others are planning to open later this year in the U.K.
