Anchorage Winter Makes Billings Look Like a Beach Vacation [AUDIO]

While we enjoyed a rather mild winter here in Billings, Anchorage, Alaska broke a record for snow over the weekend.
A storm dumped more than 4 inches on Alaska’s largest city over the weekend, breaking the record for winter snowfall at 134.5 inches. That’s 1.9 inches more than the previous record set back in 1954-1955, and 125.2 inches more than we saw in Billings all winter.
According to the National Weather Service, only 9.3 inches of snow has fallen in Billings since October1, 2011!
