American Idol Auditions Today in Billings!
The American Idol tour bus is in Billings today and this is your chance to be a star! The The “American Idol Small Town Audition Bus Tour” is holding auditions for Season 12 at ZooMontana today from 9:00a.m until 5:00p.m.
Those auditioning can choose any song they want but judges only want to hear a capella, no instruments. You must be able to prove that you are U.S. citizen and provide photo ID proving that you are between the ages of 15 to 28 as of June 5, 2012. After IDs are checked, contestants will be given a number and will need to wait in the outdoor audition line.
Show officials announced last month that they planned to stop in 10 small towns around the U.S. in an effort to reach singers who may not be able to make it to larger cities where auditions are typically held. From Billings, the bus heads to Casper, Wyoming on Wednesday for auditions outside the Fort Caspar Museum.
