Am I a Traitor?
My boss Andy and I arrived to work for Townsquare Media Billings about the same time. We have both been discovering the great things about living in Billings since. Andy practically lives on blended mochas from Rock City Coffee. Just about every morning I walk past his office after finishing the K-Bear morning show and he has one in his hand. The man should be a spokesperson for the coffee. He is constantly telling me how it is the best coffee around. I have listened to his accolades with caution. You see, I grew up in Seattle. I am sure that if blood tests were done, there would be traces of Starbucks in my blood. If I go into any other coffee shop, I break out in hives and get an enormous amount of guilt. This past Saturday, my wife and I were poking around shops downtown and I found myself on at the front door of Rock Creek Coffee shop. As we went in, I could feel the hives rising on the back of my next. My wife ordered his customary vanilla latte…I hesitated and decided to take the plunge…”A small blended mocha please with double chocolate” I said. I say it here and now. Andy is right. That was one of the smoothest blended mocha’s I have ever had. I will be back for more.
