All In Favor – Sign the Petition
I found a note in my email this morning from a friend who is a rabid sports fan. For year “Bill” (not his real name) has lamented on how the day after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday.
I think this started the year the Seahawks were robbed of a victory by the officials. So imagine “Bill’s” excitment when he found out about a new petition that’s making its way around the internet. People are actually trying to put enough signatures on a digital document and get it in front of the White House. Why not? Last month 134,000 people signed an on-line document supporting building a DeathStar. And Congress had to entertain the notion…I ask you, what is more important? Isn’t a day off after the Super Bowl better?
