Have You Ever Seen the Northern Lights?
Before moving to Billings, I spent almost 14 months of my life living in Juneau, Alaska. I was in charge of the day to day operations of nine radio stations.
One of the most questions I am asked about living in Alaska, besides the snow, is did I ever see the Northern Lights? Truth be told, we saw glimpses of them from time to time, but in Southeast Alaska it has to be a perfect night to see them.
Spring time is a great time to see the Northern Lights My friends in the interior of Alaska see them regularly. Here’s a a great video for those that have never seen them. The music only enhances the experience, although you won’t hear it if you are standing in the open of the Tundra watching, chances are you’ll be hearing your teeth chattering.
