Just Another Tuesday Afternoon…NOT
Last week I finally passed the MRI test. I am not sure that it was such a good thing to pass. Tomorrow afternoon I begin the first of a series of three injections into my spine to treat two bulging discs that were discovered in the C4 and C5 area of my spine. At least I think that is how the nurse described what was going to happen. To be honest, after she said they would be injecting a long needle into my spine, everything after sounded like the adults speaking on a Peanuts cartoon.
This all started around Thanksgiving when he left side of my body became weak. And then I lost the ability to raise my left arm above my head. I already have an issue on the right side with a torn labrum that is on the mend.
So Tuesday afternoon I will check into the Billings Downtown Clinic, put on a backless gown, lie on my side and have a needle inserted into the base of my spine.
I hope this is the beginning of the end of the pain.
