Now This Is The Souper Bowl
Any time food is involved, I think an event is fun. And add in the fact that it’s a charity benefit and I really get excited.
This Friday you and I have the chance to do just that. Eat and help out a great program here in Billings. Friday the 1st will be the 10th Annual “Souper Bowl” fundraiser for Angela’s Piazza – a drop in center for women located Grand Avenue. The center was opened in 1988 and has been going strong ever since. But like all charities, they can always use support. So what is the Souper Bowl? It is what it sounds like; A chance to taste some delicious soup and bread from restaurants around the Magic City. And you get to take the bowl you used home as a reminder. It really is the best $25 you’ll spend this weekend.
Some of the restaurants that are donating to the event Friday include Walker’s Grill, Old Chicago, Outback Steakhouse, Soup and Such and others. Grains of Montana and Stella’s Kitchen are donating the bread. There are two chances to participate in the Souper Bowl – either for lunch on Friday between 11 and 1:30 or the dinner session between 4 and 6:30.
For more information call Angela’s Piazza at 255-0611.
