Senseless
I sit here in my office digesting all of the horrible accounts of the tragedy today in Newton, Connecticut all I can ask is why? What motivates a person to take such an ugly, cowardly action? What was the motivation for this person visit two separate classrooms and shoot at innocent children? Senseless. There are no words – 20 children, 8 adults including the shooter are dead today. The Community of Newton, Connecticut is broken today. They will be for some time. Even though I am a parent and a Grandparent, I cannot put myself in the place of those parents who have lost children today. The healing will take time.
